I'm on Datacast Episode 40
Hear me talk about machine learning, aging, drug discovery, and a bunch of other topics
| UPDATED
Big news! I’m on the latest episode of the Datacast Podcast (you can see the episode on SimpleCast).
You can also find the show on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Overcast, and Breaker.
James Le has also written up some of the highlights here.
What is this podcast series about in general? From the description:
Datacast follows the narrative journey about data scientists, machine learning engineers, and academic researchers to unpack the careers that they have built. The show is hosted by James Le.
While there are a lot of people creating podcasts around machine learning, Datacast has been going on for some time already. Previous guests on the show have included research scientists at Uber, Google Brain, Facebook AI, UCSF, H20.ai, Unity, and OpenAI. I’ve also observed that while other podcasts try to focus on high-level detais about machine learning, Datacast tends to focus a lot more on the practical details behind careers in ML, as well as the hard work behind the scenes of the impressive projects in the field.
Seriously, go give it a listen.
